This workshop will be an open forum for parents who are struggling with a new or recent diagnosis of hair pulling disorder, moderated by a mother who will share her own experience learning to cope successfully with her daughter's challenging issues. Discussion will include the various emotions we feel, the control we attempt to exert, the various therapies we may try, and, finally, acceptance and the concept of "recovery".
