For most of us with BFRBs, it is incredibly difficult to change unwanted behavior, especially when not fully aware of the role it plays in our awareness and moment-to-moment processing! Increasing our core awareness is a fundamental part of BFRB recovery as it expands the ability to make healthier choices that support being pull/pick free. After a brief overview of how mindfulness training can effectively support long-term recovery and the practice of it in her own life, Christina will lead participants in the practice of 2 useful stress reduction & awareness exercises drawn from her popular online course, followed by group discussion.
