Learn a different way to respond to your urges. Instead of trying to stop or ignore the urge, respond with mindful awareness. Learn how to use informal and formal mindfulness techniques to begin a new relationship with your BFRB. Both in the moment strategies to use when you have the urge or notice you're picking or pulling, and daily meditations to help improve your overall wellbeing will be taught. You will walk away with new tools to help you accept your urges and behaviors, as well as yourself, which paradoxically may lead you to reduce the behaviors.
