Finding the time (and the discipline... and the motivation...) to manage your self-care regimen is challenging enough for those of us with BFRBs. But when you are balancing those needs with caregiving responsibilities, it can be even harder. If you are a mom, a dad, an adoptive grandparent, an adult child caring for an aging parent, caring for an ailing spouse/partner - anyone with caregiving responsibilities as well as a BFRB - please join us for a support group in which we will share strategies for creating that balance. Having a BFRB can lead to isolation, feeling like no one else understands your challenges. When you're a caregiver, isolation can become a factor because there are barriers to connection - like who is going to watch my kids/my parent/my partner so that I can get out of the house to go for a walk? In this unique support group, we will come together to create connections with others balancing similar conflicting priorities in addition to BFRBs. We will share strategies for finding time for ourselves, as well as ideas for managing our caregiving responsibilities differently so that we can find time for our self-care.
