Does your BFRB feel out of control? In this workshop you will learn some great skills to tame your BFRB. We will discuss what function your BFRB might be serving for you and how to give your body what you need in other ways. This is a fun workshop that will help you build some huge emotional muscles!

In this interactive and experiential workshop, teens will be learn how identifying and connecting to one’s values can be a powerful source of motivation and perspective in the one’s BFRB journey.

BFRB Specific Mindfulness
Learn a different way to respond to your urges. Instead of trying to stop or ignore the urge, respond with mindful awareness. Learn how to use informal and formal mindfulness techniques to begin a new relationship with your BFRB. Both in the moment strategies to use when you have the urge or notice you're picking or pulling, and daily meditations to help improve your overall wellbeing will be taught. You will walk away with new tools to help you accept your urges and behaviors, as well as yourself, which paradoxically may lead you to reduce the behaviors.

Nighttime can be an especially difficult time for many young people with BFRBs. In this workshop participants will learn important information about the various and highly individual aspects of BFRBs, as well as interventions to manage them, especially at bedtime. This interactive workshop will be interactive, to ensure that there will be fun as well as learning!
