This workshop provides participants with an opportunity to share their experiences regarding how their BFRB has affected both job searches and employment. Participants will be provided tools to help prepare effective resumes and cover letters, as well as confidently handle the job interview process.

Ambassador Training (part 1)
Join TLC's Millennial Task Force in creating awareness of BFRBs and enlarging TLC’s membership is an important part of TLC’s mission. To enhance our efforts we need a small army of “Ambassadors” willing to share accurate information and dispel misconceptions in a sensitive and supportive manner. This pre-conference workshop gives you an opportunity to explore what it would be like to be a TLC Ambassador. Ambassadors will help organize and promote outreach programs in schools, colleges and community groups within their communities. This is a two-part session.

Dating Someone who Doesn't Have a BFRB
Do you have a BFRB and are afraid to date because you're worried he/she wouldn't understand? Are you dating or in a relationship, but you're struggling to figure out how to talk to your partner about your BFRB? In this workshop, we will discuss ways to navigate relationships when we are struggling with our BFRBs. The workshop is led by Katie Koppel (a hair puller) and her partner Chris Bannon (a non-hair puller). Together, we will brainstorm ways to get support for your BFRB (in the ways that YOU want), while also making your relationships even stronger!
