Debi Marshall

Debi Marshall is a SHRM certified human resources professional with 10 years of experience, including 6 years working for a faith-based non-profit organization. As a child, she grew a love for writing. For the past 5 years, in her spare time, she has penned a blog, "Debi Luna Marshall: An imperfect woman doing her best to love God, others, and herself" (www.lunamarshall.com). She shares her thoughts on everything from faith, politics and culture, to infertility, parenthood, and trichotillomania. A hair-puller since the age of 10, she is an adamant advocate for the BFRB community. She contributed an essay in “Doesn’t it Hurt: Confessions of Hair Pullers,” edited by Sandy Rosenblatt, and has previously facilitated support groups in both Florida and New York. She loves collecting books (even if she doesn’t have time to read them all) and is obsessed with the band Pearl Jam. She resides in Upstate New York with her husband of 15 years, their two-year old daughter, and two Schnoodles.
