Julie Mason

Julie Mason was diagnosed with Trichotillomania at age 15. She is an advocate for the BFRB community independently as a contributor to the Huffington Post Canada and through her membership with the Canadian BFRB Support Network as a Peer Support Leader. Julie has her B.Sc. from the University of Guelph. She is currently working on her Master of Social Work degree at Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario where she intends to continue advocating for the BFRB community through research. She met Mary Thomson, RSW, in 2013 as a client for CBT. Julie and Mary created a presentation together to educate the staff at Grand Rounds at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto in March 2016.
