Mackensie Freeman is 18 years old and is a senior in high school. She is from Atlanta, Georgia. She has had trichotillomania since she was ten years old and currently pulls from her head and eyebrows. She has been involved with TLC since 2011, when she attended her first TLC conference. She gave the opening welcome at the 2015 Conference. Mackensie has been in the news regarding her trichotillomania, on websites such as BuzzFeed and Cosmopolitan. In her free time, she enjoys spin class and art journaling.

Maddie Lapp is 18 years old, from St. Louis, Missouri, and is a freshman in college. She was formally diagnosed with trichotillomania at age 14 and pulls exclusively from her scalp. She has been involved with The TLC Foundation for two years and hopes to share her passion of raising awareness with others. In her free time, Maddie enjoys swimming, music, art, and hanging out with friends.
